As the Product Designer and Developer for this project, I was entrusted with the complete redesign and development of the Ventlio website and user dashboard (details on the dashboard coming soon). I led the overhaul of both design and development, collaborating closely with a team of front-end developers to bring the vision to life and ensure a seamless, user-friendly experience.
The primary objective of the redesign was to provide users with a more modern and visually appealing interface, enhancing the overall experience. Our goal was to create a design that resonates with our local target audience, offering an intuitive and tailored experience that aligns with their needs and preferences.
I began by thoroughly evaluating the existing website to identify areas for improvement. I then conducted a review with the team and founders to gather their goals and feedback on the platform. This insight guided the direction of the redesign. Next, I researched design inspiration to inform the creative process. After brainstorming, I transitioned into wireframing, sketching out initial concepts and layout ideas.
I designed multiple low fidelity iterations, reviewing each with the team to ensure alignment with business goals and user needs. This iterative process was crucial for refining the design to meet our objectives. Finally, I created high-fidelity designs, carefully maintaining consistency in color schemes and typography to align with the website's branding.
After finalizing the design and securing team approval, I transitioned to the development phase, collaborating with front-end engineers to bring the designs to life. Using the Next.js framework, we meticulously coded each design component, employing TailwindCSS for responsive styling and Framer Motion to enhance the user experience with smooth, engaging animations.
